This is jewelry for everyone, for everyday. To be worn, to be shared, to be given with love, to be passed on through the generations, and to be cherished.
THEM. US. YOU. ME.
Together. Today. Kloto was forged from connections: our connection to the universe, to our heritage and to each other. Through sculptural, organic forms and mixed metals, designer Senem Gençoğlu inspire a narrative of openness and inclusion. In every piece, there is a fluidity not just through form but in purpose, made to occupy the space between gender, age or formality of occasion. This is jewelry for everyone, for everyday. To be worn, to be shared, to be given with love, to be passed on through the generations, and to be cherished.
Our journey began in Istanbul, a place where Asia and Europe intersect and cultures combine in harmonious symphony. Senem comes from a family of artisans, rooted in the spirit and culture of the Grand Bazaar with its long history of jewelry making. From a young age, she spent summers working at ateliers with her grandfather, learning the craft and pursuing her curiosity for art and design. Later, studies into industrial design would lend this rich knowledge and experience a modern sensibility.
Today, Senem translates this heritage craftsmanship into future heirlooms with a progressive perspective. Through her travels and education, Senem’s insight connects the old with the new and the next, combining traditional handmade methods and a local community of artisans with contemporary environmentally-conscious production and recycled, responsibly sourced materials.
Our world is becoming ever more connected. Today, we wish to welcome you into ours.
